Paws In Recovery
Since the beginning of time, it’s an undisputed fact that there has always been a unique connection between human and creature. We use the term creature as opposed to just dogs or cats because there are many animals that need care and can offer so much to their providers.
Paws and Recovery is a unique way of uniting those in recovery with animals who need their own recovery. It provides the individual with unconditional love opportunities, to be responsible and to be accountable for a living creature in their care. Recovery can sometimes be a lonely experience just as abandoned and abused animals experience that same loneliness. Paws and Recovery is designed to provide comfort care fellowship between humans and 4 legged critters. Studies suggest that not only can animals reduce significant medical problems, but they are also an important factor in sustaining long term recovery from substance use disorders.
